Sunman here, My wife and daughter have been long time fans of Wasabi. Gary and Amy the owners always treated us well and made first class sushi and will create anything you want if you ask. Our favorites are the bar-b-q'd squid, Gary Roll, Sashimi Spring Roll made of rice paper and Sunamono salad. Recently Gary and Amy are not at the restaurant as much as we would like, they are off opening a new place in Annapolis, MD. However, they did train a good crew who makes sushi as well as Gary, however we miss the service and good conversation with Amy and Gary...we hope they will return and manage their flagship restaurant again soon. It was five stars but now I can only give it four stars without the owners in attendnace. Still good and wonderful. Enjoy and bring your own beer, wine or sake. If you don't drink all your sake they will tag it with your name and hold it for you so you can enjoy on your next visit. We do this, and it is a wonderful service. They recently added at the sushi bar a large screen TV to watch sunday football games, very nice.25 people can sit at the long sushi bar. Over 100 at booths and tables. They do accept reservations and we recommend that you make them for holidays and busy friday and saturday nights. Another favorite is the Udon Noodle soup. Nice when you have a cold or on a cold winter night. Lots of tasty broth and big noodles, better than Mom's chicken noodle soup! The restaurant has tables to seat over 100 and booths. The sushi bar seats about 25 people and we never have had to wait to sit at the sushi bar. Service is attentive and prompt. Hot real hand towels to wash your hands are presented before dining. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Retaurant is painted in black and orange, which is very attractive with Japanese swords and other fish tanks, etc. We love the decor. The kitchen turns out some yummy dishes like the bar-b-que'd squid...a must try. Enjoy often, we do. Sunman
